As Managing Director & CEO of Appnomic, Paddy is passionate about delivering a game changing, autonomic solution for application performance and infrastructure management. He is closely involved in the Strategic Initiatives of the company and Technology Development. Paddy has been involved in the IT industry for over 25 years with leading organizations like PSI-Bull and Infosys. At Infosys, Paddy led the solution architecture team of Finacle - Core banking solution. He lead the team to re-architect the product to a centralized browser based architecture and optimized the performance to set new benchmarks globally for scalability of core banking applications. Paddy is a graduate in Mathematics from Madras University.

Alton founded and promoted the company to focus on providing practical & relevant IT Infrastructure Management solutions & services. Alton also founded Vitage Systems in 1993 which is a leading systems integration company operating in India. He has more than 25 yrs experience in the IT industry. Prior to setting up Vitage Systems, Alton was responsible for Mainframe sales for PSI-Bull in South India and for a brief period was managing software sales in US, Africa & Middle East for a leading software company. An Electrical Engineering graduate from Bangalore University, Alton has been instrumental in building the organization's capacity to deliver IT services globally. In addition to being a member on the board Alton, is operationally responsible for Compliance, Risk Management, Finance, and Facilities & Admin functions.

Promod has more than 20 years of experience in the venture capital industry and currently serves as managing partner at Norwest Venture Partners (NVP). Promod joined NVP in 1990, and has invested in more than 60 companies since he began his venture career, producing nearly $30B in exit values to date. More than 20 of his portfolio companies have gone public and nearly 35 have been acquired (or have gone public and been acquired). Promod was ranked as a top investor on the annual Forbes Midas List for nine years, and in 2004, Forbes named him as the #1 venture capitalist based on performance over the previous decade. In 2006, Promod was presented with a Global Leadership award from NASSCOM, and he was recently honored with the 2011 SV Forum Visionary Award based on his outstanding achievements and contributions to the technology industry.

Promod focuses on investments across a wide variety of sectors including systems and IT infrastructure, software and services. He was an early investor and a board member of Cerent (acquired by Cisco), Cast Iron Systems (acquired by IBM), Siara Systems (acquired by Redback Networks), OnDisplay (acquired by Vignette), Winphoria Networks (acquired by Motorola) and Extreme Networks (Nasdaq: EXTR).

His current investments include Apigee, Appnomic Systems, Brite Semiconductor, CareCloud, Cyan, FireEye, InsightsOne, PCH International, Persistent Systems (BSE & NSE: PERSISTENT), Skybox Imaging, Sulekha, Veveo, Virtela and Yatra. Other notable investments and previous board seats include Tivoli Systems (acquired by IBM), Forte Software (acquired by Sun Microsystems), Kiva Software (acquired by Netscape), Information Advantage (acquired by Sterling Software), Arbortext (acquired by PTC), Open-Silicon (acquired by Unicorn Investment Bank), Resonext Communications (acquired by RF Micro Devices), Showcase (acquired by SPSS), Yipes (acquired by Reliance/Flag Telecom), Amberpoint (acquired by Oracle) and ZettaCom (acquired by IDT).

Prior to Norwest Venture Partners, Promod spent 18 years in various operational roles ranging from product development, marketing, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer at various public and private companies including Siemens International, Thorn EMI, Emergent Technologies and Dimensional Medicine, Inc.

He received a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Delhi, India. He holds a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Northwestern University and an MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg Graduate School of Management, where he serves on the advisory board.

Ranga is responsible for overall operations and program management across the company. He is also responsible for HR and the corporate marketing functions at Appnomic. He was a key member of the team that has built the Finacle product business at Infosys for about 10yrs delivering excellent performance & results. He has a successful 17 years of proven track record in sales & marketing in the IT industry, handling software products and solutions with Wipro and Infosys. A Management graduate from SP Jain Institute of Management, Mumbai and an Engineering graduate from BITS, Pilani he brings in a strong perspective of delivering value, focus and innovation to clients.

Subbu is responsible for client acquisition & operations in India, Middle East & Africa. He has 22 years of sales experience, selling services and solutions to corporate and enterprise clients in India and Asia regions. Starting his sales career with the HCL group to setting up the Hitachi Data Systems business in India to growing the start-up business at Sanovi, Subbu has an excellent track record in forming strategies, executing and achieving short term revenue and long term organizational goals, handling operations and running teams of 10 to 150 people. Prior to joining Appnomic, he was President & CEO of Sanovi Technologies Ltd, a Software Product start-up focused in the IT Disaster Recovery space. Prior to that he was Managing Director of Hitachi Data Systems India Pvt Ltd, a storage solutions provider and a leader in storage technology. Subbu studied Marketing Management at Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies and has a Bachelor of Commerce from Mithibhai College, Mumbai University.

Ray Solnik is president of Appnomic Systems, Inc., based in Santa Clara, California.  He has responsibility for leading Appnomic's presence in North America. Ray brings twenty years of deep technology experience in the cloud computing sector, managed network services, and data communications. Prior to joining Appnomic, Ray founded and headed a technology consulting and interim executive placement firm, Buena Vista Business Services, where he provided strategic and business development consulting services as well as interim executive leadership to technology companies including Symantec, Xerox PARC, Samsung, MarketTools, Zoomerang, CrowdFlower, myGengo, and others. Prior to Buena Vista, Ray was president and COO of OpSource, an Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) company that operated over 200 enterprise and web applications on behalf of clients (acquired by Dimension Data - a $4  billion systems integrator), Chief Development Officer of New Edge Networks (acquired by EarthLink), and president of AT&T’s consumer Internet services business, AT&T WorldNet.  Earlier in his career, Ray worked in the financial services and financial software sector at American Express, Intuit, and Credit Union Capital.  He has a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Michigan and a master's degree in business administration (MBA) from Stanford Graduate School of Business.

John Karsner joins Appnomic after technical executive positions with companies such as Wells Fargo Bank, NorthPoint Communications, Virgin Mobile, and PARC – a Xerox Company. Karsner’s expertise in applied technology, financial services, and highly scalable transaction-oriented platforms perfectly align with Appnomic’s solutions and market emphasis. A solutions architect and principal author of several patents in the areas of scalable, network distributed systems; Karsner’s technology track record demonstrates a dedication to innovation and designing meaningful solutions for scaling IT operations. He has also proven an ability to bring these innovations to market by building the IT infrastructure, teams, processes, and software required to scale businesses supporting millions of end users and billions in revenues.

David Langlais has spent more than 20 years in executive position in marketing and product management positions ranging from growth oriented start-ups to multi-billion dollar enterprise software companies.

David previously headed marketing for ProactiveNet, an early pioneer in proactive analytics, a precursor to “preventive” IT analytics concepts such as those now commercially available from Appnomic. After five years of ProactiveNet leadership and growth, BMC acquired the company. Over the course of five years following ProactiveNet’s acquisition by BMC Software, Langlais continued growing and expanding BMC’s Service Assurance core business, for which ProactiveNet’s technology served as the foundation. He has consistently served on the leading edge of software application monitoring and analytics systems.
